Thanksgiving Cards

Well I am sending out some Thanksgiving Cards. The last 2 have digital images i bought from Seneca Ponds Crafts on Etsy. http://www.etsy.com/shop/SenecaPondCrafts She is a great seller. The first one I made using techniques with alcohol inks on the free Webisodes on Paperwishes.com. This is a great site and I have learned a lot from their videos. The crow one has flocking on the crows and I used my new leaf stamp that I love. Can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving. Where has the time gone. More Christmas cards to come soon and maybe other stuff.

Midnight Madness Sketch MMSC27

I like the card but it was very hard to follow the sketch completely. I am having all kinds of trouble with scanning and picture taking. Everything is coming out too dark. I am hoping to make more Thanksgiving cards soon. Everyone seems to forget about Thanksgiving after Halloween. I love vintage images and got this one from a very old box of Christmas cards. It was first vintage paper item I bought. I realized that I loved vintage paper and since then I have collected a lot. I think that's a good thing?

It's only the second time I have done a sketch type challenge. Colored the image with my chalks so I am not quite happy with it. I think I am too late to enter the contest but adding it to the pics anyway.
By the way, Where did October go? I blinked and it was gone. Better start working on Christmas stuff soon!

Twinchies & Tags

So here are my Twinchies(2 inch squares of art) and my Tag for the October Pic and Mix swap on Paperwishes Message Board. The dragonfly is a shaker with clear beads. First try at that for me. Sent them all the way to England. Going to try another shaker with snow soon. I am feeling very inspired. It's that time of year. Don't think the pics do them justice. I lost my scanner software and had to get a newer version and it seems to have less options. Anyway here they are and now back to work.

New Cards

So I have joined a new card making list from Paperwishes.com and now I am making a lot of cards. I really want to make dolls too but it is hard to switch gears. Here is my card with one of my new women stamps and my fist fall card of the year.

New Stuff

Apparently blogging takes a lot of time and attention and I probably don't have the Stamina. have been making lots of cards lately but at the moment am stuck with the dreaded studio/craft room cleaning and organizing. I really believe that that the solution is to buy more storage containers but so far that hasn't worked. But as for creativity here are some of the cards I have made in the last week or so. my daughter gave me some great glittery paper from Paperwishes.com and I really love it. I made several of the cards with it. Back to the grindstone.
